The week gone by saw Japanese yen continue to hover around 15-year highs against the US dollar with increasing speculation of Japanese authorities intervening in the currency market to try to weaken the yen.

Mumbai, Sep 3 (UNI) Surging high for the third successive day, the Indian rupee recorded a ten day high at 46.63 per US Dollar, advancing by eight paise from its last close of 46.71 following Dollar selling by exporters, traders at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) said.
